Playing "Dress-Up"" was a favorite thing for my kids when they were little, so this poem reminded me of all the fun you can have, just pretending!!

Let's Dress Up

Let's dress up in grown-up clothes:
Swishing skirts
That touch our toes
Wispy veils
That hide our nose.
Let's dress up today.

Feathered bonnet
Trimmed with lace;
Rouge and lipstick
On our face;
An umbrella
(Just in case).
Let's dress up today.

Now we're ready.
Let's go walking
Down the street
(Pretend we're talking).
Walking
Talking
Walking
Talking,
All dressed up today.

If you decide to dress up, take a picture and send it to me to post!! lee@bpsk12.org
